Bill Storie – Co-Founder & chief executive

Bill Storie is the CEO and co-founder of The Olderhood Group Ltd., the exclusive Bermuda Partner of Career Partners International – a global firm focusing on career transition strategies and retirement lifestyle education that strengthen employee engagement and retention.

An accomplished international presenter and business consultant in various disciplines, Bill is also the co-author of “The Third Journey – Making the Most of Your Life After Work.” Bill has co-produced three retirement lifestyle television series as well as several podcast series and is a regular contributor to Olderhood.com. Bill is a Chartered Accountant (Scotland) and his primary focus is on financial matters for both corporations, individuals and trusts. His consulting services and presentations reflect a deep knowledge of the psychological and emotional impact of poor financial planning and Bill offers a unique no nonsense approach to resolving the concerns of his many corporate and individual clients.

Robin Trimingham – Co-Founder & chief OPERATING officer

Robin is the co-founder of The Olderhood Group Ltd., and focuses on career transition strategies and retirement lifestyle education that strengthen employee engagement and retention. An accomplished international presenter, Robin is also the Editor of Olderhood.com and co-author of “The Third Journey – Making the Most of Your Life After Work.” A certified career transition consultant and retirement options coach, Robin is a thought leader in the field of future life planning and has co-produced three retirement lifestyle television series as well as several podcast series. Her global clients include employees from all walks of life and her downtoearth presentation style and realistic life strategies make her message easy to relate to and meaningful. Outside of her work, Robin has co-founded The Olderhood International Club (OIC) an online social club where older adults can communicate safely, and 5 facetoface social clubs in The Philippines, to encourage friendship, social interaction and community projects.


Sylvia Jones, Director of Operations for Elevate and her team of CPI-trained Outplacement Consultants are now facilitating the CPI Outplacement and Career Transition Services  here in Bermuda.

Surlena Smith – Principal News Correspondent for The Ozone Radio show

Surlena Smith, CFS, CIS, CES, AAPA.  is The Principal News Correspondent for The Ozone Radio show on Magic 102.7. A Financial Consultant by trade and an entrepreneur by choice, she is also the creator of Bermuda’s first natural deodorant- PondaPits.  Surlena is a full-time- mother, wife, and women’s advocate.  In addition to planning events for the Women’s Resource Center, her interests include playing corporate sports, rowing, spending time with her Doberman Jacky, and gardening fruits and veggies. Hailing from Texas where everything is big, she loves living and working in Bermuda with her awesome husband and ten year old daughter.

Dr. Henry Dowling – Medical Consultant

Dr. Dowling, obtained a doctorate in medicine from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. At Associates in Integrated Health his holistic approach to medicine is to collaborate with other providers to offer a wide variety of health care services including family medicine, internal and pediatric medicine, chiropractic care, nutritional support, counseling services and psychotherapy.

Naomi is a successful career activist who has adhered to her own advice to “Do what you love and the money will follow”. As an experienced consultant trainer, employment trainer, career guidance counselor, and certified Retirement Lifestyle and Wellness Coach, Naomi is devoted to helping people achieve their own career and life goals.

Graeme Outerbridge – board member

Graeme is a successful business man well-known and well-respected in the Bermuda business community. He was recently the Mayor of the City of Hamilton, capital of Bermuda. He brings a wealth of business contacts and development strategies to the Olderhood Group.

Joanne possesses more than 30 years’ experience in transition management including career development, coaching and retirement. Based in Missouri, she has an extensive background as a webinar leader training coaches with the International Coach Academy, Coaching Cognition and Retirement Options, where she serves as the Director of Training. She is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, a Board Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing and Education, and a Master Career Counselor through the National Career Development Association. Joanne is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and a nationally certified Gerontological Counselor as well as a Certified Retirement Coach.



Doris is the Executive Director of EAP Bermuda. She has over 20 years’ experience in the employee assistance field and has been training employees on retirement planning for the last 10+ years. Her diverse background that includes counselling, organizational consultation, training, crisis intervention and disaster mental health. Doris earned her graduate training in Social Work from Columbia University. She also received training in management. She is a certified trainer in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and response. She has trained crisis teams in Bermuda, Tortola, BVI, Turks and Caicos, Belize and other islands in the Caribbean. She also has her certification as a Certified Trauma Service Specialist (CTSS) and has been a Certified Employee Assistance Professional since 1994.

Bob is trained as a clinical psychologist, having earned MA and PhD degrees from Kent State University. He worked most of his career as a psychologist in clinical practice, and also was a professor of psychology at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. He retired from full-time teaching in  2012 to return to Michigan in order to help his parents. Bob now divides his time between Michigan and North Carolina, and maintains small psychology practices in each state. He writes and speaks on topics related to psychological well-being in the second half of life.
